It was the 16-year-old Irish Ben Walsh who took the final victory. With a total of 5 penalty points he was stronger than Ruby Barrs (IRL) who collected 7 penalty points.

After an incomparable jump-off it was the Dutchman Lars Kersten who won the KBC Bank & Insurance competition. Pieter Devos and Claire Z became second and Willem Greve with Grandorado TN N.O.P. concluded the top 3.

Dutch Amazon Marieke van der Putten wins the WC Grand Prix
The Dutch Marieke van der Putten won the Grand Prix this morning here in Mechelen. With a score of 75.978%, a personal record, the dressage rider won the competition with Torveslettens Titanium RS2 over reigning world champion Charlotte Fry (75.783%) and her stallion Everdale. The Netherlands also won the bronze: Dinja van Liere with Hermes N.O.P. scored 75.15%.
