Belgium is a true powerhouse in equestrian sport, and that’s something to be proud of. That’s why this year’s poster features Gilles Thomas and Ermitage Kalone, the young Belgian superstars who finished second in last year’s Longines FEI Jumping World Cup in Mechelen and just last weekend won the Grand Prix at the Global Champions Tour in Paris.
Gilles grew up in the region and, as a child, took part in the mini steeple. Today, he’s one of the world’s top and most popular riders – and Jumping Mechelen is proud to be part of his story.
