The second day of Jumping Mechelen is traditionally dedicated to breeding. On December 27, you can enjoy not only the stallion trials and the Léon Melchior Sires of the World in the Nekkerhal, but also the free jumping finals and the presentation of several promising auction horses from Auction Mechelen.

Loose Jumping
As per annual tradition, a loose jumping competition for 2-year-old horses is organized during Jumping Mechelen.
Those who want to showcase their skills in the grand final at the Nekkerhal (December 27 – New Year Arena) must collect enough points at various selection competitions held throughout the country.
The top three from each qualifier will advance to the semi-final. Those who outperform the competition there will ultimately compete at Jumping Mechelen.

Auction Mechelen’s two auctions offer both young talents at the start of their careers and well-trained horses ready for you to enjoy right away.
Two Auctions
Auction Mechelen consists of two separate online auctions: the Christmas Collection Auction for 2- and 3-year-olds and the New Year Collection Auction for 4-, 5-, 6-, and 7-year-olds.
Top athletes for the future
Auction Mechelen succeeds in gathering a diverse collection of interesting horses every year. The organization offers well-bred, promising talents that appeal to a wide audience, from ambitious young riders looking to grow with a reliable partner under saddle, to stallion owners seeking a standout horse that can win the hearts of breeders. All horses have the potential to perform at least at the 2* level.

Then be sure to get in touch. In October and November, you can bring your 2- to 7-year-old horse to one of the presentation events in Koningshooikt.
