Adora Van ’t Ruytershof Claims Victory in the 2-Year-Old Loose Jumping Final at Jumping Mechelen
On Saturday morning, it was up to emerging talent to open the New Year Arena. Early risers in the stands were treated to an outstanding field during the final of the loose jumping for two-year-old horses, a line-up that even impressed the judges afterwards.
According to them, there are very likely several future stars among these youngsters, horses we can expect to see competing at the very highest level in the years to come.
Bred by Joris De Brabander, Adora Van ’t Ruytershof eventually claimed the top honours. The BWP mare by Cavalier Russe Z out of Bamako de Muze still remains in the breeder’s ownership and is part of the team at Stal De Muze.
Adora earned the winning score of 88.50 points thanks, among other things, to her exceptional technique, scope and athletic qualities. The jury also saw a broad future ahead, supported by her natural ability.
Silver went to Artis vd Bisschop. Breeder and owner Diogo De Castro selected Gino H as the sire for his United Touch S mare, resulting in this impressive stallion. The jury awarded him 87 points, securing another podium place for the Belgisch Warmbloed Paard studbook.
Third place went to a different Belgian studbook, with the sBs gelding R’Mes De La Petite Hunelle. The son of Greco Sitte out of Dominator 2000 Z, from the stables of Julie Deplus, received a score of 85.50 points, good for bronze.
The top six was completed by:
Alana van het Oosthof (Eldorado van de Zeshoek x Harley VDL, bred by Adon bvba)
Aramis LB (Orak d’Hamwyck x Solid Gold Z, bred by Laura Brouwers)
Amoureuze Van Stal De Bock (Pegase v’t Ruytershof x Ogano Sitte, bred by Jonas De Bock)
