Dressage fans were treated to a morning of quality sport as the FEI Dressage World Cup presented by De Baian got underway at 8.00 am. Belgium made its mark straight away, with Larissa Pauluis claiming victory and several strong performances from home riders.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Pauluis keeps her cool<\/strong><br\/>Larissa Pauluis entered the arena as the final Belgian combination, riding Flambeau (Amp\u00e8re x Zeoliet | KWPN), her experienced and trusted partner. The long-standing partnership between horse and rider was clearly evident, and the duo looked stronger than ever. The pair showed that the hard work of recent months is paying off. A well-executed test earned them 73.07% in the Christmas Arena and the second place.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">Tension until the end<br\/>International opposition came from Portugal\u2019s Jo\u00e3o Pedro Moreira with the ten-year-old Drosa F\u00fcrst Kennedy (F\u00fcrstenlook x Don Kennedy | OLD). His elegant presentation was rewarded with 72.54%, securing third place. Just outside the podium finished Marieke van der Putten. Riding Zantana RS2 OLD N.O.P.
